Receipt Printer and Barcode Scanner Setup

  • How to set up and connect a receipt printer?

    To connect a receipt printer in the Kavapp system, you need to:

    1. Enable the printer usage option at the point of sale via Kavapp Admin → “Basic information → Points of sale → Settings”.
    2. Configure the receipt layout via Kavapp Admin → “Settings → Receipt printer settings”. Don’t forget to synchronize the data in the app.
    3. Configure the receipt printer in Kavapp Seller: go to the “Settings” screen → “Receipt printer settings”. Choose the paper size and connection type (we recommend Bluetooth printers).

    After connecting, perform a test print. If the print is incorrect — select a different printer encoding from the list.

    After setup, receipts will be printed automatically when closing the receipt or in manual mode. You can also reprint receipts issued within the same shift.

  • How to connect a barcode scanner?

    First, enable the scanner usage option at the point of sale. To do this, go to Kavapp Admin → “Basic information → Points of sale → Settings” and activate the scanner usage option.

    After enabling the function in the system, connect the scanner to the tablet and start working. 

    After making changes to the settings, don’t forget to synchronize the data in the app.
