Working with the Discount System

• What is the discount system?

  The discount system is a feature for creating discounts and promotions at the point of sale. This feature is available only for M and L tariff plans.
  
  Capabilities:

  • assigning individual discounts to customers;
  • creating flexible promotional offers;
  • increasing loyalty and average receipt value.
• How to work with discounts?

  1. In the personal account of Kavapp Admin, under the tab “Promotions and discounts → Discounts”, you can create and configure different types of discounts:

  • percentage discount,
  • fixed amount discount,
  • cashback (bonuses for purchases).

  To reduce manual work, you can set a default discount in Kavapp Admin. It will be automatically applied to new cards created in Kavapp Seller. Don’t forget to synchronize the data after changing the settings.
  
  If you create the card through the Admin panel, you can assign any created discount to it, not just the default one.
  
  2. Created discounts are assigned to customers’ personal cards. This happens during card registration by the Seller employee or administrator in Kavapp Admin. Only the administrator can edit cards after registration.
  

  Note: the card can be registered using a phone number and/or the number/barcode of a physical card.
  
  

  3. During payment, the employee swipes the card (by phone number, card number, or barcode), and the assigned discount is applied automatically.

• Can I create standard discounts that can be used without customer cards?

  Yes, in Kavapp Admin under “Promotions and discounts → Discounts” you can create several personal cards with simple numbers (e.g., 5, 10, 15) and assign the corresponding discounts to them (5%, 10%, 15%).
  
  To apply it, during checkout the Seller employee simply enters the card number that matches the desired discount.
  

  Please note: we do not recommend this method, as it is more difficult to control and may lead to abuse.
  
  

  After setup, don’t forget to synchronize the data in Kavapp Seller.

• How to create promotions?

  Promotions are created by the administrator in the personal account under the tab “Promotions and discounts → Promotions”.
  
  For detailed steps, refer to section 6.3 of the Kavapp Admin instructions.
  
  The system allows various configuration options: for any day, product, point of sale, as well as choosing the type of discount and additional conditions.
  
  You can also create multiple promotions at once or set them only for owners of personal cards in the discount system.
  
  After making changes, don’t forget to synchronize the data in Kavapp Seller.
